This necklace is 22k Gold or Silver plated on brass. Plated jewellery has the same quality as fine jewellery, however, with time, the plated layer will wear off. For that reason, Big Metal London apply a layer of clear resin to prolong its durability.At least 50% of the brass they use in the jewellery is recycled.
