Our Story

lt took 20 years and a unique opportunity for Liz Galloway to own her own independent store.

Drawing on her background in art and inspired by the idea of showcasing fashion, homeware and gifts under one roof, having returned to Broadstairs to raise her young family, Liz took the leap and bought KIT Lifestyle.

Seven years on, KIT Lifestyle has gone from strength to strength, expanding to three shops in town - the main shop, Little KIT on Eldon Place (selling childrenswear, sleepwear and seasonal accessories), and next door, Memento (selling art editions, pads, cards, pottery, candles and jewellery from the likes of Lisa Illustrations, Crispin Finn and Nina Paloma).

Liz has also added a takeaway coffee offering at Little KIT, through a collaboration with Smiths Coffee Shop on Dundonald Road in the centre of town (Instagram: @smiths_coffee_bar).

Not only does Liz sell top quality brands from Scandinavia and the UK, she also makes sure she does her bit for the planet too, by stocking eco-friendly & sustainable products whenever possible.

As Liz continues to forge ahead with her business, customer service remains at the heart of what she doesThanks to word of mouth and a strong social media presence, KIT has become a valuable addition to this seaside town.
