Our Story

lt took two decades and a unique opportunity for Liz Galloway to own her own independent store.

Drawing on her background in art and inspired by the idea of showcasing fashion, homeware and gifts under one roof, having returned to Broadstairs to raise her family, Liz took the leap and bought KIT Lifestyle.

Eight years on, Liz has three shops in town - KIT, on Charlotte Street, Little KIT, overlooking Viking Bay, and memento, located right by York Gate.

Liz has also added a takeaway coffee offering at Little KIT, through a collaboration with Smiths Coffee Shop on Dundonald Road. 

Not only does Liz sell top-quality brands, she stocks eco-friendly & sustainable products whenever possible too. 

Although her retail presence in town has grown, customer service remains at the heart of her business.

Thanks to word of mouth, exceptional customer service and a strong social media presence, KIT, Little KIT and memento have become a valuable addition to this seaside town.
